First Tech Challenge (2020-Ongoing)
To explore my interests in engineering, I participate in FIRST Tech Challenge, a robotics competition where teams design, build, and program robots to complete complex tasks. As team captain, I lead our brainstorming sessions, guide the mechanical design process, and help coordinate testing and improvements throughout the season. I work closely with my teammates to prototype mechanisms, integrate sensors, and refine our robot’s performance. FTC has given me hands-on experience with real engineering challenges while also strengthening my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Through this role, I’ve been able to apply my technical knowledge, mentor newer members, and shape our team’s strategy and success.
